The crew at Swear Words have just launched Pink Bitumen, a new label purely aimed at the promotion of MTB here in Australia. Pink Bitumen is starting off with some kick ass tees and are currently planning a few events for the new year.
As part of their launch, PB will be giving away a t-shirt of your choice. You can find the competition details and t-shirt designs at http://www.pinkbitumen.com. Make sure you check out the first of the many nice visuals that Pink Bitumen and photographer Steve Gourlay will bring to the scene. You can also see a slick full page ad in the very nice issue #1 of [R]evolution. |

Stolen from Stiksandstones:Clay Porter of the spectacle and second spectacle dropped off his latest video teaser for SYNOPSIS. It is only a 2 minute teaser, but from that teaser you get the goosebumps! It is going to be the best race/lifestyle film ever I think.
I am in a rush, so I will work on getting a smaller file and some different file types but for now its a 19mb quicktime file. Sounds like video action sports MAY carry it when its available when its done and I will let you know when SYNOPSIS is final. Watch it, feel it, live it, love it.
Click on the apple quicktime movie here and the movie will load in a seperate browser, or right click to "save as"....YOU GOTTA SEE IT!!!!!!!!!!

 | Final Round of the GT Mountain Cross Cancelled (11 comments) (link) Friday, 1-October-2004 9:35 PM - by Scott | |
|
This just in from Robbie Mac:"Everyone at Black Phoenix Films regrets to inform all those commited to the 3rd round of the GT Mountain Cross that it has been cancelled due to bad weather.
We apologise for any inconvenience and would like to make mention that there will be some alternate shenanigans going down over the weekend.
These will include nude wrestling with 6 of Robbies girlfriends best friends (yes they are all girls) Robbies girlfriend will not be wrestling.
We will also be going bowling with a trophy and free drink up for grabs.
On top of this the grand final night is going to be massive and will be held somewhere that provides alcohol consumption to the wee hours of the morning.
Paintball has not been ruled out either. Isn't it weird when riding is taken away, the other things available to us in life decide to present themselves?
Big props to GT rider Ezra Bartholdt who came all the way down from Cairns for the race. We have not seen him since the cancellation was announced as he found the local shopping mall and has proceeded to find himself a new life partner amongst the thousands of half naked mall girls! Keep it legal ezra!
Sorry ladies and gents, till next time.... |
