Two weeks ago today the 2007 Scott 24 Hour was being run for it's 9th year in succession - only this year marked the event's return to it's birthplace, Mt. Stromlo.
Young Canberra film maker Sam Davies was brought on by CORC to film the event and allow everyone who rode the event to re-live it until next year, and those who didn't go to see what they missed out on! The video also follows Andrew Bell, Alex Keindl and the GU Elite 4-man team to their respective victories.
The video is 15 minutes long, and available in three versions, 28MB, 67MB and 130MB.

Celebrating all things DH, Street and DJ is the 2008 Clict Calendar. At 330mm square, this is a poster book that happens to have dates on it. We have selected the best 15 images from the best photographers on the MTB circuit. There are photos from the Nissan World Cup rounds such as Colin Meagher's sensational cover shot of Sam Hill at Mt Sainte Anne as well as the street style of Darren Pokoj, Lance McDermott and Paul Basagotia at the QashQai Urban Challenges. There are some relatively unknown riders in here that are throwing down so much style that we couldn't go past the pictures. Check out Markus Greber's soul shot of Andi Wittmann on the back cover and the Chris Benny shot of Sydney local Alex Quirk as he hits a long forgotten pool. Some local pinners managed to get a look in as well with Chris Southwood, Adam Smithson and Troy Brosnan representing for the Australian DH riders. Meanwhile Nathan Rennie, Sam Hill, Steve Peat and Greg Minnaar show their style on the international race circuit.

Twin Peaks Downhill Day saw all riders get plenty of runs over the two courses, with no long queues for transport.
60 riders took part in the two course format with individual times for each race plus a combined time for both races. The Maxxis A men saw 3 new riders on the podium with Darcy Murrell 1st ahead of Mark Skrobin 2nd and Tamryn Murrell 3rd. The A Women saw Lea Harley 1st ahead of Kylie Meduna 2nd. Competition was tight in all classes with not much dividing riders after the combined times.

Wannaride is proud to announce the JP Morgan 8¼ Hours of Power MTB race to be held at Ourimbah State Forest (near Gosford on the Central Coast) on 25th November, 2007.
The JP Morgan 8¼ Hours of Power is for solos, pairs and teams. In fact, there’s a category for everyone (including Messenger Pairs, SingleSpeed nutters and Corporate Teams – get the boss to pay!).
That means great racing, big cash prizes for the Elite Solos, and heaps and heaps and heaps of swag for all participants.
There’s going to be real food and drink, demo bikes from Kona and Yeti, trials riding displays, a “Log Pull” event, and a commitment that this race will set the standard all others are measured by.
The planned Ourimbah course is over 75% singletrack, and home of legendary sections “The Roller Coaster”, “Jurassic Park” and “The Graveyard”. There’s been a great amount of trail work there lately, so it will be pristine, fast and flowing. Just like MTB should be.
Click here for more details on the Wannaride team, and Australia’s richest (and most fun) one day MTB race.

There's a new MTB series premièring tonight on Fuel that all of you (that have access to Fuel) will want to see. I've seen a preview of the series and can say that it was been put together very well and features a heap of footage of Australian races. The first EP (tonight) features a comprehensive look at the national championships held earlier this year.
