 | Santa Cruz Syndicate Signs Minnaar - Chaos Ensues (16 comments) (link) Thursday, 22-November-2007 6:11 PM - by Ryan | |
|
| In what has to be the biggest signing coup of the silly season, Santa Cruz Syndicate have added Greg Minnaar to their already-stacked squad of Steve Peat, Nathan Rennie and Josh Bryceland. It's already been picked up in the Bulk News section but in my eyes, the finalisation of a downhilll uber-squad like this deserves a splash on the front page. Damn. |

Well, last for this season. Check it out...

The Merida Australian MTB Series makes its way to Illinbah in sunny Queensland next weekend.
From the 23-25 November you'll see an action packed weekend with competition in downhill, cross country and mountain cross disciplines.
All information on the event plus online entry forms can be found on the Gold Coast MTB Club website. On line registration and camp bookings will be closed at 8pm Tuesday 20th November.
It looks to be a cracker of a weekend and to ensure the festivities aren't limited to the day there will even be a band performing on Saturday night.
The event is run on a working property so could you please respect the wishes of the owner by adhering to the no glass, no open fires and no dogs rules.
I've also been informed there will be a 4X Junior development session hosted by Gold Coast Mountain Bike Club. The coaches for this are none other than world class riders Ricky Boyer and Katrina Miller. The session will be run from 1 - 3 pm on Friday 23rd. There are limited spots available so get in quick and book on innergate1@optusnet.com.au.
The event looks to be a ripper with some killer tracks so I hope to see you all there next weekend! |

28 videos, about 10 different formats... What a mission! Only took me a month to figure out how I was going to get these all on one page in the same format.
From these videos our judges will pick the top 5. These five will then be voted on by you guys to find the winner.

 | Greg Minnaar Wins Celebrity Car Race In South Africa (1 comments) (link) Saturday, 3-November-2007 10:49 AM - by Scott | |
|
The day before his major surgery on his left shoulder, Greg Minnaar took part in a televised celebrity car race, and blew away the opposition.
The WesBank Celebrity Blacklist Car race series, launched this year, allows national celebrities the chance to feel what it's like to get strapped into a full spec 2.0 litre VW Polo race car and push their driving abilities to the limit and race against the clock.
30 celebrities were all put through the same format and only the top four were chosen for the final show down that was televised yesterday in cool windy conditions near Johannesburg.
