1. How did your off-season training go? Are you ready for the WC season?
I had a good off-season this year. Normally I don't have much time off but this summer I went for about three months barely even touching a bike. I just needed to have a good break and it was really good for my motivation. That said though, I'm definitely in good shape now and am ready for the World Cups for sure.

2. This is your first time racing the full WC circuit, despite having raced overseas for a decade now. Are you looking forward to a new challenge?
Yeah absolutely. I think it's going to be a bit of a learning curve for me but I know I can adapt fairly well to it. Getting used to the Euro mud will probably be the biggest challenge for me so hopefully it will be a dry season...which probably won't happen.

3. What races have you been doing overseas in your career so far, and what were your best results?
I've always done the US National series which I won last year and been able to do a few of the world cups. My best results for the World Cups have been 8th in DH and 6th in 4X- both at Mt. St. Anne.

4. How well do you think the Australian contingent will go this year on the WC circuit?
Hopefully pretty well! Sam is definitely the man right now and Kovarik is looking like he is in awesome form- Amiel, Bryn, myself and all the other guys will definitely be giving it 100% and then there's always Rennie...... I think as a group the Aussies will go pretty well!

5. Are you looking forward to having one of the rounds of the WC series in your home town?
Yeah for sure. It's a pretty big deal to have the race there and it's been a long time since a World Cup has been in Australia. I think it's going to be a great event for everyone and for me it will be pretty special to be able to race in my back yard.

6. What are the races for this season like, and are there any tracks you are looking forward to racing in particular?
The season has some pretty cool stops. I'm really looking forward to Maribor, Mt St Anne and Canberra of course. There's some classic venues in there along with some new ones so it's going to be pretty sweet.

7. How many flights will you be on before you come home at the end of the season?
A lot. I don't know for sure but I'm guessing it will be in the 20's or 30's

8. What are you aiming to achieve this season?
I'd like to finish in the top 15 overall for DH and finish in the top 10 at at least one race. I think for me that's a realistic goal- especially with so many fast guys out there and it being my first full season.

9. You've been riding Pro for many years now, does all that travelling and all that time away from friends and family get a bit old sometimes?
For sure it does. It's pretty hard traveling around so much and it definitely gets old but hey, I'm living my dream and one day it's going to come to an end so I'm very greatfull for it and am enjoying every minute of it.

10. Plans for the future, beyond this season?
Race my bike, live my life and have a good time.
