Yep.. Cobblers pegs suck! Specially when they get all stuck in your shoe laces! Luckily Castle hill seams to be fairly void of them.. but they are still up there...

the worst thing for me is the fact that everytime I go to a skatepark its full of hardcore skaters that arent really happy to see someone with a bike there

i know exactly what you mean dude.... once i must have stacked into a bunch of them, i couldn't even see my shoe laces. and the worst thing about them is that you never notice they are there until the next time you wear your shoes.

another thing that sucks about riding: costs to much and hurts (pain is love baby, pain is love)

they really sux. since the fires and the rain they have been everywhere in Toowoomba. They are a major pain in the arse and sometimes its not worth riding where they are really thick.

i've perfected a method to make them SO much easier to get out. if your clothes are totally full of em, dampen your clothes, and put em in a plastic bag. stick em in a sunny-ish place inside your house, and forget about it.
after 2-3 weeks, they will have grown substantially so you end up pulling trees out of your pants, rather than tiny little schlut-of-a things.

I spose that's great if you only go riding once every 2-3 weeks

yeah, cobblers pegs do seem to be the bane for toowoomba riders, as i myself have spent many a minute plucking them from my clothes.

I concur with Ty, Jamie, you are a madman, I cannot imagine a more insane way to get rid of cobblers pegs. The line between genius and insanity is a fine one ;)

worst thing about riding is when you snap the BB on your crappy hardtail, borrow your mate's torrent cause he rides trials and have to give it back when yours is fixed, that SUCKS!!!!

Yes, but if you crash on a jump and break your stuff, regardless of the fact that anyone else is capable of doing the same thing, it's still your fault. It's not a bad thing about riding, it's something YOU CAUSED to happen, that sucks.

12-06-2003, 09:30 PM

The two worst things about riding are:
Old people who yell at you for riding to close to them. (even when your like 2 meters away from them)
And when you break parts on your bike and cant go riding for ages.
