Thanks to Tony and Ben at Advance Traders we were given the chance to review the 2004 Rocky Mountain Flow (http://www.bikes.com/bikes/2004/flow/flow.aspx). Check out the review (http://www.farkin.net/page.php?p=b5ebf095ea53ac65beaf51e43b0ad54c) and discuss it if that's your thing...

I think you might have stuffed up the first pic in the review, looks like its covering up some text...

I have to agree with the last paragraph; I recently got a 04 Rampage, with very similar specs to the Flow, but $1k cheaper....even if the rampage frame sh1ts itself in a year I can buy a new frame for that money and be no better off....however I don't ride that hard, & I don't think the frame will give way.
So, save the $$$ and don't have the nice brand/handbuilt label?
I did...

BTW; NOT saying the flow is a bad frame, or not good, or bad mouthing it in any way.

Hey guyz my brother (kona_man) has the 03 flow and i ride it's heaps and i have to say i don't like that review very much cause he's said nothing good about it and he didn't even jump on it,their best thing is jumping!! And u pay alot more cause that frame is basicly unbrakeable .It's made to take everything any1 can throw at it,it jumps and drops unbeliveably so don't go completly off what he's writen

We didnt just wright it off mate .. read the review properly ..

We commented on what "WE" thought were things "WE" saw as things we didnt like. Thats how reviews work mate.

Your entitled to your opinion .. and yes I felt it did jump alright .. I usually wouldnt hit a 5 to 8 stair gap if i didnt feel the bike was comfortable in the air .. we mentioned this in the review.

Glad ya bro likes it ... they are a nice bike.

Yeh it's all good,i might have come off wrong accually i was just showing that we have one and love it and saying what we think it's like for jumping. And showing why u pay more for the frames cause theres lots of people that think it's not different if it's handmade in canada to what some people r calling "handmade"in taiwan cause i might be wrong but in that other thred people r putting down balfa's and rocky mountains by saying that ur wasting ur money on them but yeh sorry i was in the wrong

The chainstays are too long but the geometry is "spot on"?

despite the sizeness of that frame, it's a pretty sweet bike.

is the grind frame the same as the flow frame?
because today i got a Grind and it is awesome.
geo feels "spot on".
i have been so confident on it and hit everything i could today.
when i got on the bike it was like it was made for me and i got used to it instantly.
