Thats it for now, but i have about another 200 photos which ill be processing and chucking them into a web gallery for you guys to browse through. Im leaving that to happen overnight though, my beer has run out and im going to bed.

Ive been playing around with different ways to present the photos and this is one of them. So tell me if you like it or not, i think its kinda funky, but im not sure how good it will be on slower computers. Its only the portrait ones sofar, there are a few at the doubles which were taken in landscape so ill be processing those soon.

yeah, we live in the driest state in the driest nation, in the middle of one of the longest droughts on record and what do we get for the Nationals...bucket loads of rain of course.

There would be two pics of you in that gallery. One through the rock garden on your qualifying run, and the other through the berms at the bottom on your race run (the one in that post).

Im working on a better way to display all the photos.

Been working out sale options recently as for a last few shoots people have wanted to purchase photos.
The 800px watermarked photos are available free of charge, and im figuring a way to present them easily.

It is not photoshopped.. When your taking the shot you zoom out or in, and it gives you that blured affect to the center of the image

The two ones which look radially blurred are actually crash zoom shots. Normally though the center of the image turns out a bit blurred as well though, mainly due to the longer shutter speed used in the image. But with a bit of light trickery (flashes) and courtesy of my strobist learnings (http://strobist.blogspot.com) the flashes freeze the center of the image when they fire and as such the focal point of the rider is still pretty sharp.

I highly reccomend that people learn strobist techniques such as twin plane lighting for their photos, makes them so much better.

Anyway, i have updated the viewer software in the original post (http://photo.plebeians.net/SimpleViewers/DHNatsRd1/) so that it should display better on slower computers, and now when each image is displayed it links to the free version in the lower left hand corner.
