KHS NSW/ACT State Championships - November 18th

Hey I notice that entries are open for the NSW/ACT State Championships on November 18th, hosted by HMBA at the fabulous Killingworth track

Just confirming the start times/groups at the moment, hope to have them up tonight.

The HMBA club round this weekend is looking like being run on the same track to be used for the state champs, so everyone, come for a practice race if your keen this weekend.

The track will then stay set for those wanting to practice mid week, although we can't get out there and retape stuff that moto's/4WD's may take down until the saturday.

Is it true this may be the last time Killingworth is used for a State race ? Sob, sob ....

How are the surface conditions up there ?

We postponed the club round on the weekend just gone because of the conditions, but killi normally dries out very well. We have some warm sunny days on the way this week, so everything should be good for the race day.

As for this being the last state round at killi?? That's not certain at this point. Killi is set to become National Park in the very short term (some of it already changed to NP as of July) so this may be the last race, but we are working with NPWS to try and make sure that isn;t the case.

That said, construction begins on the first stage of the XC network at awaba in late December/early January. So we will have a replacement, it will just be different to killi.
