Hi All,

Sorry for the late post and notification. Work has been chaos! Haven't had a minute to myself to upload pics and work on the site (Double Update).

I would also like to add a bit in that looking through the pics of Yack here on Farkin, I am disappointed to see most people don't take pics of the Vets and Master, and come to think of it, womens, sport and hardtail get missed a bit too.
Us old timers like to see ourselves riding too! If you're holding a camera along the side of the trails, take pics of ALL of us. don't stop after your kids zoom past.

Now on with the update.....

Saturday brought heat and flies, oh, and a few flats aswell. The track was in good form, even with the lack of rain in the area. A really BIG thanks to Simon again for the use of his property. Oh to have that land close to Melbourne. Can I say, just how funny it was at the finish line seeing so many Vets requiring oxygen, and Spinner didn't need dinner after hoeing down on grasshopper (not the cocktail variety), good times.
If you missed this race, what were you thinking????

Hux.

Second that Grahame , more vets and masters pics people !:)

Just to clarify , I didn't voluntarily eat a grasshopper straight after my race run , the little bugger got sucked down my throat while I was on the ground gasping for air ! Some guy thought I was having a seizure as I gagged and tried to cough it up.

"Do you need a medic mate ?"

"No.....gasp.....cough.....(pointing to mouth) ..grasshopper...":D

You know you've put in when you feel like spewing after a race run. I heard there was a vets guy that actually threw up at the finish !

Hmmmm, Im suprised, theres a few goodies i took in the bunch :D. Well another great job Hux.... Finally pressured you to do that gap you worried about so much... It's all in the head...

Well Spinner, Marni and myself specially stayed around to get photos of the Vets/Masters... But there still needs to be more of them. They deserve recognition like the rest of the rider's.

See everyone at Buller!!!

Cheers,

Wisey
