Where is Roxy these days? Has she gone off the radar?
Normally she is always on here with the banter...
Anyways, Ive been to all 3 of the DH nationals this year so far, and there has been a huge number of girls out there in all classes. Nice one ! :)
Hope to see you all at Canberra and Beauty.

I'm back. I will be racing the national champs this weekend.
Shoulder is not 100% yet but it's good to be back on the DH bike even if it does cause me a little bit of pain.
Hopefully the turnout for the girls will be as good as it has been for the series. Nice work girls.
Hope to see you all there.

Roxy as in Kristina? Injured herself pretty badly (broken back) a while ago apparently, and from what I understand has a pretty high risk of permanent injury if she hurts it again. I have no idea if she ever plans to ride again or what but she's certainly out of it at the moment.

Is that related to her Awaba adventures?
Is that related to her Awaba adventures?
Are we all talking about the same person for a start?
I dunno if she's (Kristina) ever ridden Awaba, last I spoke to her I think she said it happened in SA somewhere.

Kristina and Josh flew up and stayed with my brother for the awaba round.
She had to be airlifted to hospital after a nasty crash.
Rather than rehash it, it's all in this thread (http://forums.farkin.net/showthread.php?t=98478&highlight=roxy+awaba).
Didn't realise she had issues afterwards in SA. Seems some people just don't get lucky.

She also had Benney Renolds use her as crash barrier at Long Gully. Wrong place wrong time. Of all the people to have crash into you. Unlucky.

Hi, just curious, who is Roxy? Is she the legend from last year with a green (maybe) bike who cained it and came like 2nd or 3rd or something in the DH? If it's who I am thinking of she is a great rider and had a very vocal cheer squad. :D

You are thinking of Joanne "Foxy" Fox.
Rides a Green Ironhorse Sunday. Current National champion.
Her cheer squad would be the guys from pylet.com
P.S SORRY FOR POSTING IN GIRLS JUST THOUGHT I'D CLEAR IT UP
Yeah I thought it was her, she was flying again this year. I was chatting to her (assuming I have the right person) after her run and she told me she broke her collarbone four months ago, so I guess she would not be in top form. But either way her run looked good.

She was fine at the first round in SA, maybe something to do with the other crash someone mentioned?
