Item: Giant TCR Team 55.5cm (Unknown Age)
Location: Canberra
Item Condition:Fair
Reason for selling: Frame too big, parts need replacing
Price and price conditions: $350
Extra Info: Not sure on the age of this bike. Its got a quill stem so it must be a few years old...Ultegra shifters and RD, Dura-Ace Cranks and Brakes, Mavic Rims, Selle Italia saddle. Frame is in good condition but there is cable rub and a few scratches. No dents though.

It needs a new chain, cassette, middle ring, bottom bracket, front hub needs a service..what else..new cables. That's it.

pm'ed.

also a few supplementary questions..

How many gears?

and the 55.5cm.. is that a 'large'? I get confused with the Giant sizing sometimes.. is this a 'compact' style frame?

i think that colour scheme is a 99 i think. I always wanted an ATX890 mtb frame in that colour scheme but missed out and ended up with the 00

not a bad deal, this. for ~600 you could have a dirt cheap roadie or even less for a nice retro singley. shame i don't have the spare $$ or i'd be really interested:(

Can I ask how tall you are?
Condition wear of the drivetrain?

Cheers

I am 179cm, this frame is a bit larger than I prefer, and I haven't ridden it much. Frame is a large by Giant's current sizing, as I am told the frame has compact geometry. Drivetrain is in pretty poor condition, that was the condition I bought it in and I didn't realise how worn it was until I took it to the bike shop..I'm not the best mechanic..That's why I've said that it needs replacing cause that's what the shop told me.
