Your Favourite Spot???

Hi There,

Thought I would start a thread to find out about your best rides or most favourites spots to ride, and why not throw in your worst crash as well.
a) most memorable ride and why:Mt Buller was pretty damn good. First time I ever went on a chair lift, only one stack and it was minor, and I went as fast as I could (well, fast in my books anyway...)

b) favourite spot: My favourite was up in Cairns, at Smithfield. Specifically, the track was called Red Dingo. Haven't got a regular at the moment though...

c) where you'd really like to ride: Can't be fussy really. Have seen so many awesome tracks that I would like to get to - though I've always liked riding through the rainforest.

d) worst crash: I have never broken anything (how, I'm not sure), but I would have to say off a small cliff, about 3 or 4 metres. Um, I don't really want to do that again in a hurry.

I ride XC rather than DH. Probably a good thing considering my worst crash was on firetrail.

a) Most memorable ride and why:
Once at Mt Stromlo I was on my own and I ran over a large brown snake which was crossing the trail. I was too freaked out to look back and see what happened to it. Scary!

b) Favourite spot:
I do like Sparrow Hill, but the Bermagui trails are quite fun too.

c) Where you'd really like to ride:
I love riding different trails. Pine forests are nice, but I have to say they aren't really a novelty anymore. A rain forest sounds quite exciting!

d) Worst crash:
When I first started riding - before I even made it onto the singletrack - I crashed on some firetrail, knocked myself out and got a pretty bad concussion.
