Should I fit my DJ III's to my xtc2 or will they break the frame.

The crappy judy c's I had on bottom out if you ride over an ant, and I just lashed out on some boxxers for the stinky so the bank balance is a bit light on.

Dj3s will fit fine and won't break the frame. It will slacken the head angle though

if you want something cheap and more suited to the frame have a look at the pilot xc's in the for sale section

or the sid's

I dont see why it would snap the frame as long as your just using it for XC and even then jared rando races on an XTC for 4x which i think its the same frame ?

that would be a nice ride had a look at xtcs at the lbs today they look strong enough for dirtjumpers as long as the bike isnt dropped big or doing any large scale djs you should be fine

I got it put together last night and rode it to work this morning and it rides really well. The steering hasn't slowed down all that much.

It looks like a bit of a chopper though.

Hopefully it goes well in the 12hrs of darkness

You realise it's a bit like putting Rock Shox Pilots on a stinky?

lol, I'll keep an eye out for it. I know the guy organising it, and from the sounds of it, you're definatley going to want more sus than less, what with all the man made sections

I am taking them off and putting on EXR comps as I can't ride up hills without falling off the back.

2 vistalights one 10w one 20w plus a blt 5w.

I get about 2 hours from the 10w, 1 hour from the 20w and about 3 hours from the 5w

I can't remeber the riders name but the guy in NWD4 rides a Giant XTC for urban shit.... I can't remember the forks he has either but I am guessing they would be of a similar nature to the DJIII's!!

I watched that last night. He doesn't hold back. I wish I had even a little bit of the skill he has.
