It has a flip flop rear hub,but I'm guessing it's to change gears and not to run fixed, but I have no idea.

Dunno, but that's one cool old bike. Judging by the rack etc I'd say at least 20-25yrs old at least, probably more.

I have a similar bike in bits. It has a badge on the front that says something like "buffalo bikes... since 1948" cant read the words properly tho cos of the layers of paint. I rekon it'd have to be from the early seventies at least. (Way more than my previous guess!)

Looking at the lugs, fork crown and rear drop outs.. I'd say most likely 1950's. But if you can be bothered.. tell me the make and model of the brakes.. that may help narrow it down a tad more.. (ooh history! my favourite!!)
I had a bike with almost the exact same dimensions/geo & exactly the same rear "dropouts" & it was a 1957 Malvern Star 2 Star.
So i'd say bdstorer is on the money & it would be 1950s ish.
