Hi Guys,

Hope you all had a blast yesterday at the race. Just want to say a big Thank you to all the guys who helped out. Thanks Steve for being our Start Marshall and Hayden and Roshin for the help on the gate.
Also to all the guys who helped make the track rideable, without you guys it wouldn't have come together.
Thanks to all the Rego ladies too. Jo, Kaye & Janenne. And to Matt for all the timing and moto placements.
Here is a few of the photo's that I took as well as photo's that Tim Allonby took too. Thanks Tim!!
Look forward to seeing you all at Rnd 2 on the 9th March @ Underwood. Poster and Times will be up within the next day.

Nice pics Sarsha.
It was also good to see so many riders there yesterday. Looks like 4X is going to do well in Qld.

The biggest thanks must go out to you and Randal, because without you guys, 4X wouldn't get the attention it deserves here in Qld. You guys give up your time to run these events and we can't thank you enough for all that you do.

A big thanks also must go to Gus Macnally and the Gold Coast club for building us a "True" 4x track. Good on you Gus for including a 4X track at Illinbah.

Cheers
Jo

Thanks Jo,

It is such a new sport and is only going to get bigger and better. So glad Rhys won! Mind you would have been good if Randal won but he was just having trouble riding yesterday... too much digging on the Saturday.

Thanks Sarsha, yeah Rhys is as happy as a pig in shit at the moment. ha ha! 3 months ago Rhys would of had trouble keeping up with the elite guys, but thanks to Race Elements, Rhys' upper body and leg strength has increased and its starting to show in his riding.

Sarsha hope you don't mind but instead of starting another thread I'll post the few sharp ones I got. Only shot with an ageing digi-cam so result was low but here are the few.

Awesome event! More of it.

Do you need diggers for the underwood track? I'll be working all weekend but maybe I could do some maintanance on my own if you could tell me what your plan is. I rode there the other week and the berms are boringly rough, maybe I could just speed them up a bit?

Thank you everyone who helped pull it together.

Cheers,

Stefan

Hi Stef,

Thanks for the great comments! With the Undies track pretty much no berms that are currently there will be used apart from the first one. The plans to convert the track have been done up we are just waiting for some dirt to be delivered and some logs and stuff. If anything we need to start smoothing out the first straight and berm.
We are going to do some work on the track on afternoons as it is near where both my husband and I work and train. Just check this thread or The QLD watering hole thread to check when we will need help. But thanks a lot!

Hey Guys,

We have worked out the Working Bees for the Underwood track and would love as many people to come out and help. We have included 3 different times so it would be great if you could make it to just one of them.

Sunday 2nd March 3pm-6pm
Thursday 6th March 4pm-6:30pm
Saturday 8th March 3pm-6pm

If you could all bring any tools you may have that would be a great help!
Thanks,
Sarsha
