"I don’t know about other people, but typically I don’t like wearing elbow armor. They restrict movement, have bad ventilation, get stuck to the Velcro on your gloves, increase arm pump and can give you strange rashes..."
Scott checks out TLD's elbow armor offering.

Yeah, I've had a set for about a month or so and am loving them.
Can say first hand that they do the job when you bail. I had one particularly big off doing shuttles and if I didn't have them I'm sure I'd be in plaster!
Well priced too!

good work on the review, it helps a lot.
just 1 question, hows the stiching on the pads(ie: strong, weak, a lot a little etc)? because if they started to rip the pads wouldnt hold up for much longer.
oh and you would get a very funny tan line :?
yeah you do get a funny tan line, it looks cool though in a big X.
the stitching is strong as, they will hold up for a long time.

Nice review. Am looking at a new pair of elbow guards and will check these out.
Curious though that you went for the full product placement in the photo by wearing a TLD glove as well, the glove seems new too.
I like "independent" reviews but seeing the TLD glove kinda makes me think about this one.

Did you get some Combat guards as well? Can we have a review on some knee/shins and gloves Please?

I'm trying to arrange that now.

the farking "people" reviewd TLD gloves not that long ago.
I wouldn't mind some decent elbow protection. I picked up some cheap dianese (25 bucks) a while back and don't like having to stop to pull them up after every bump.

Sorry kitakishi, I don't actually own a pair of non-tld gloves. I just threw one on to hide my ugly hand. You'll notice my right hand doesn't have one on. If you're talking product placement you'll notice my factory deal with shimano and planetx... I think you'll find it's more coincidence than strategy.
