You're gong to have to splash out on a new single for the rear, that yellow tyre is rude.

Don't panic, I have some skinnier, lighter and black ones for indoors :) Oh, and the amount of glue Ken used, it ain't coming off in a hurry!

Hurstville next week. I went to Tempe tonight, got a couple of laps in warming up before The Deluge hit. Event cancelled! The warm up race was split into odds and evens, I was even and didn't even get to race.

I hope it rides well. It sure looks good.

Curious to know how much you could get one for if you approached XDS or a similar company.

How do you stop that space ship?

It's a fixed gear, you stop with your feet.

Haha. Not dictated by fashion, but what I had. I'll happily use a single I have already instead of paying $150 for a matching one. The front wheel is a clincher btw .... Conti Supersonic, as a training/outside wheelset the mismatch will have to do.

Have you got a speclist? Also wouldn't the hub on the shamal instantly turn to crap while riding on the road? or have you got a different hub on there? I reckon it looks awesome even though there is no colour!

For track only, no road ... rough speclist is:

Frame/fork: Edge carbon 55cm toptube, Edge carbon fork, alloy steerer
Wheel (rear): Campagnolo Shamal tubular, 16 spoke, Vittoria Atlanta CS tubular 21mm
Wheel (front): American Classic CR420 rim, 20 hole American Classic track hub, Conti Supersonic 700c/20mm
Crank: Sugino 75, 170 mm, square taper
Chainring: Rotor Q-Ring elliptical, 48T
Chain: Izumi 1/8"
Cog: 1/8" 14T
Pedals: Shimano Ultegra
Seat: Selle Italia SLR Gel
Bars: Deda Pista 31.8 mm clamp
Stem: Pro 31.8 mm, 90 mm

The frame is sourced from Kirrawee Cycles, Ken the proprietor knows his stuff!

Hope to refine the front end a bit after a few more rides (fewer spacers, cut steerer, flip stem).
