Hey dudes...
unfortunately i join this site with bad news :( ..... my pride and joy.... a brand new Norco atomic just fitted with aerial cranks and chain guide... got stolen from under my house..... the theives new it was there cause they had to chop threw a fat chain on the gate then threw another on the bike..... the bike has no scratches cause ive only ridden it twice with care... it has standard components except for the cranks and guide... it has a lil fox sticker on the top of the frame near the headset.... dirt jumper 3 forks... fox vanilla rear... im pretty pissed cause im now stuck riding my half stuffed giant warp ds2.... wish they stole that one....

That seriously gotta suck dude! hope you can get it on insurance or something as it was changed up. I will keep a look out here at ipswich for you mate.

yeah man considering i work two jobs one day and one night so i could pay for it as quickly as i could.... im pretty pissed and i hadn't even had time to put it on insurance cause i had it for like 3 days....
Bad luck mate, I am sure EVERYONE will be on the lookout for it. Pity i cant do more here in toowoomba. If there dumb enough to take it to the D'Aguliera race this weekend im sure they'll get nabbed by one of the farkin boys.
hope your post results in your bike being found.

Ahh that sucks. However, at least your bike isn't stock, which makes it easier to identify for people on the lookout. Good luck finding and slaughtering the thieves.
Also keep in mind, someone who knew you had a bike like that, probably knows who you are (and obviously, where you live). So it might actually turn out to be someone you know...

that's pretty crazy that someone would go to so much effort... i mean the bikes are worth a lot and all, but most bike thefts are 'opportunity' thefts... Anyway, goodluck finding your bike...

i have a fair idea who did it.... dodgy neighbours just moved in next door but i dont wanna go makin a dick of myself accusing them... they've been acting sus (looking over the fence etc.) and there pretty unfriendly...

well what are you waiting for, don the black balaclave and grab a couple of mates, then go for a late night back yard rummage. if it was your neighbours, then i'm guessing your bike wouldn't be there, they would have unloaded it by now. GOOD LUCK

go to the for sale section in these sites 2 c if they have tried 2 sell it, www.mtba.asn.au, tradingpost, ebay, www.letour.com.au or n e others u can think of, pretty dumb idea but it could b worth it, m8 got his giant dh comp stolen w hile bak, only had it for a 3 week time, we r sdtill lookin 4 that here in melbourne, good luck finding it, i say when the neighbours go out, rob them n if they dun have it steal their shit 4 being bastards 2 help get another bike. (Hey it beats gettin another job!) jus a thought. GOOD LUCK again.
shouldnt you be able to get home insurance if it was nicked from your crib? yo

Please tell me you recorded the serial number on the frame. Otherwise... there ain't much you can do. It'd be one person's word against the others....

Which website Fuzzy? Also, they were different forks and it looks like a Deore rear derailleur, and the one I saw was XT.
But it's really the frame serial number that matters...

knock on their door with a bunch of mates, and tell them if your bike is back within a week nothing untoward will happen. this worked for me ages ago when i got broken into, when my flatmate had a feeling it was our dodgy lookin neighbours. 2 days later we had all our stuff returned. while not condoning violence, sometimes the mere suggestion is enough. hope you find your bike. :)

um if ya house is insured and it was under the house locked up, it counts under the house insurance, as long as u got the reciet for the bike, or proof u bought it, they have to pay up

ok i havent seen this and didn't grave dig it but shit that sucks so baaad! thats a sweet ride! seeming it stolen 6 months ago any luck? if not keep looking..
