OK i dont know if these has been posted thousands of times, i can honestly count the amount of times ive been in this forum on one hand soooooo

I am in the market for a new roadie, mainly for Rec use, probaly do about 250km a week by the time i get into it, which will include riding to work, riding to building sites all around melbourne, so not all of it will be on super smooth newly layed bitumen, some might be crappy bike paths, or ever worse old carlton style streets....shudder.

Ideally i want to spend in the range of ~1500, happy to wait around for sales etc. i have been looking at online stores such as T7, and they have many bianchis going for clearance deals.

A few of my questions are,

-in my mind i am set on getting atleast 105 quality, do i need it? coudl i settle for tiagra? much difference?

-frame material, i want atleast carbon stays.. for the coolness factor. but then i see bikes going for around 2k with full carbon frames. from fishing rods and other things, i know there is Carbon fibre, and ther eis .. carbon fibre. depending on the weave and quality some items from carbon fibre can be absoutly horrible, and break easily etc etc, does this effect frames?

a few bikes i was looking at were, http://www.torpedo7.co.nz/products/BIBRCD7NU, which i would pull my card out right now and purchase, if i was about a foot smaller. i am about 6 foot tall, which means i would generaly ride about a 56-57? having a play on my dads 'masi' which is a size 56, it feels about right, with the seat sitting up a little bit?

then there is this http://www.torpedo7.co.nz/products/BIBRCN821 , availble in my size, a little over my budget but i could breach.

then there is the cell equivalnt? http://cellbikes.com.au/p_1245_CELL__CYCLONE_COMPACT_CARBON_w_full_SHIMANO _105__Trying_To_Find_A_Full_Carbon_Racer_Under_200 0
which is well cell, and very similiar spec, would this frame be say lesser quality then then the bianchi? re sale value would clearly be less i would say?

plus a few more on the internet, have not been into any stores yet, i liek to ask here first?

what are some other bikes around in my said price range.. 1500 give or take 500ish

hope that makes some sense....

the 928 is a solid bike, the geo is good for comfort they are however pretty heavy im interested to note that it has shimano normally they come campy.

at that price though its an absolute bargain get it if you can.

the difference with tiagra and 105 i find is the shifters are more like dura-ace and feel better in my bigger hands also ten speeds pretty cool.

You do realise you are looking at the NZ site and Torpedo7 only have the distribution rights for Bianchi in NZ and are not allowed to ship them to Aus.
