Don't forget SBS have live coverage (http://www20.sbs.com.au/whatson/?date=2008-04-13&channelID=1) this year (as long as it doesn't get dumped for a B-grade Lebanese movie again).

Excellent. It would appear that this year we will have a more traditional Roubiax with rain predicted for the region. Mud glorious mud.
B-grade Lesbian movieThat'd be acceptable though ;)

sweet, sounds like a good tv session, even if the riding does get dumped.
There's talk of setting up some rollers in front of the BnC HQ television and trying to keep up with the leaders.

If you're 'core you get out the rollers and ride along with them (while drinking the coopers etc ;))
I did this for a couple of nights for last years TDF (minus the beer), and found it really funny that I subconsciously rode like what I was watching on TV ie long flat I was spinning along and when they were ascending I would be grinding a big gear.

Go Stuey, riding with "1" on his back. Interesting to read he his rooming with Cancellara, who again is the CSC designated leader.

was a no brainer after those 3 got clear that boonen was going to take it out
def worth staying up late for
ps how about fabian's track sprinting style in the hoods  still, it got him 2nd place!
Somehow I managed to stay up and watch this, hadn't slept Sat night, worked all Sun then stayed up drinking again. Unfortunately it wasn't the most exciting finish, once they pulled 2 mins my brain said "Boonen FTW" and I started slipping in and out of sleep... Wish it was raining though, nothing like a bit of sadism ;)

shit yeah. was good to watch. i love my hd recorder. does anyone have issues with SBS digital not showing up information? i had to set it for a time rather than selecting the programs. the rain would of ruled haha. and a train as well to bring the groups back together again for more carnage.

For a country where cycling is close to the No.1 sport, holding its premier 1 day race, it seems incredible they can't delay a freight train by a few hours. I understand though that if it did happen, that the riders would restart with the gaps/intervals in tact.

Freight trains they can delay, it's the incredibly efficient passenger services that they can't do anything about
