Brisbane Riding: Donate a Day to Peachy

Hey guys! I've been off the bike for about 5 months now and as most of you know I have a new downhill bike. I've owned it for about 1 month and a bit and I’ve ridden it twice. I’m slow, sketchy and have no confidence whatsoever on the bike - I would not be surprised if a old lady on a pink bike with a basket full of groceries could beat me down a hill.
The Problem: All my close riding buddies have bailed on me and bought cars (the bastards) so every time I want to go for a ride, it’s a MASSIVE effort to find people to ride with. And as we all know its risky and not as fun riding by yourself.
Another problem, I’m 17 and can't afford a car. I live with my mom who can't drive, so getting anywhere is a problem
The Solution: Donate a day to peachY! If anyone in Brisbane is going for a ride, I’d be very very happy if you could take me a long. I’d really appreciate it, I’ll pay fuel money if there is an issue there.
Expectations: Just because I have a 04 giant dh comp doesn’t make me fast, and yes I paid for it myself

So PLEASE help me get on my bike, and if your going for a ride (even pushing up trails I don't care) please tell me as I have no riding friends and I’m really keen to get back to loving the sport and meeting some great people

im goin for a bit of a screw around in ipswich on monday. DH @ castle and djing @ the bmx track and lobb street 4x track if you wanna tag along. but i dont have a car either so i'll be riding or catching a train into ippy.

Mate once my ankle is nice and strong again. I think I'll be looking for a riding partner (until I go to england that is), as Emerin and I seem to be working oppisite shifts. And yes I have a car and will pick you up.

hey hit man i live in ipswich pretty close to castle hill, mind if i come along? ive been off the bike for ages (stupid school....) and im pretty rusty

but if anyone (yes you too peachy) wants to go for a ride at castle hill on a non-school day i'd be happy to come along too

i'll probably be going out to castle at about 10am then i might go out to the bmx track or something for a bit of DJing if any of you wanna come. but i wanna get in a couple of decent runs before i go out to the bmx track as i have only realy been DJing for about the last 2 months. so yeah if yas wanna come your welcome to.

hey guys thanks very much. luckily i posted this, i went and did shuttles today with Ivan and Brett, had a killer time. thanks guys your awesome.
went really slowly and crappily but had a great time in the process.

can't ride monday, i have lots of homework to do, thanks guys for all the offers. will PM you all if u're keen for a ride next weekend

I'm keen for a cootha/ipswich ride this saturday, probably around 9:00. I'm keen to push up cootha with anyone, if anyones keen for a ride this saturday with a slow dude on a big bike than please pm me.
