Item: 1972 Ken Self Track Frame
The frame is a 56cm square.

Location: Hobart

Item Condition: The paint is tired. Light surface rust, no pitting. I've cleaned up the chromed stays and fork. The seat post is stuck. This tends to happen when two metals are in contact for a long period of time. I haven't attempted to free the post but I think all that is needed is a little elbow grease or perhaps some solvo.

Reason for selling: Fiscally challenged.

Price and price conditions: $300 buyer pays postage.

Extra Info: This frame was built in 1972 at the Ken Self shop in Hobart. It was custom made for Dave Welsh who is the former 2000mtr and sprint State Champion. Dave Raced this frame for 6 years and then hung it up in his shed in 1978. The frame remaned there until this year when I managed to grab it off him.

The bike has hand painted decals and beautiful pin-lines. The paint is a gold fleck with a see thru candy apple red laid over the top. The frame comes with a SR post and Cinelli leather seat. Both are from the original build.

Pictures: Yep.
