ITEM: 2007 DNM usd 180's, volcano's
LOCATION: melbourne, williamstown, will post.
PRICE: $275 now 240 ono now 220
CONDITION: excelent, been riden from my knowledge about 3-4 hours MAX
INFO:
ok, i purchased these about a month ago.. trying to make my bike a DH bike, but then decided i was better of buying a whole new bike instead!
i rode the fork for about 2 hours, the previous owner purchased the fork new, and just did carpark, and skate park test's on them, he had actauly purchased a few pairs, and these were put on his street bike :eek: he soon took them off, and sold them to my self.
THey are a nice feeling fork for the price, they look different (defintaly).
for those who do not know about them, they ahve rebound adjustment by knob, preload by knob, and compression adjustments by air. so i spose you could say they are a coil/air fork.
I will not lie, the forks do top out, like every other dnm USD out there, its a design fault, if you do not run any rebound and you even run a click of preload, you will get a clunk when you pull up, this is solved by running a little rebound and no preload, about 100psi air and they ride fine (for some one of my weight 80ishkg)!
the forks do not have a scratch, and still have all warning stickers and recomended crown height stickers.
steerer is uncut, and over 250mm long.
i find that the legs sit a fair bit out, and have a really tight tunring circle compared to my boxxer's., which is a good thing i spose!
