converting QR to 20mm thru

hey guys im looking to buy me some rockshox pikes. i have alex dp20 double wall rims with QR and i was wondering if i could use any kind of conversion kit to make it a 20mm thru axle or do i need a specific type?? help would be appreciated.:)

The hope II is the only hub that I know that can be converted between QR and 20mm thru. But I imagine if you have a google search there will be others. So it looks like you might have to get a new hub.

You will need to buy a 20mm specific hub or a complete wheel with 20mm hub.

Not possible with a dedicated QR-only hub.

Some hubs (such as the Hope Pro II mentioned) are 20mm as standard, with an adaptor that steps back down to 9mm QR.

Gday mate you can buy a QR/20mm hub conversion.But you have to buy the hub first,its a TUFFNECK hub,and it sports 4 different applications.You can contact I RIDE BIKES in King street melbourne-96425245 for all the particulars/supplier etc.Hope that helps you out :)

halo and da bomb also do a convertable hub, theres plenty out there for a variety of budgets.

In novotech hubs (QR) there is a kit to convert them to 20mm...

i have a dive hoodoo hub that is convertable between the two. Happy to sell it for 50 bucks to you if your interested.
