Item: 05 Specialized 17" Stumpjumper Marathon Hardtail
Specialized M4 Stumpy Marathon Anodized Black Frame

Location: Inner Melbourne - Pickup preferred but arrangements can be made
Item Condition: Great - As mentioned above although this is an '05 model bike it was bough new in '07
Ridden a couple of times a week and consistently maintained by myself and the mechanics I worked with. See the photos but a quick summary of the cosmetic signs of wear:
- Some light scratches on the frame but they don't really show up on the black anodising and could be easily touched up. Never bothered myself because I didn't mind the look.
-Some scuffing on the Right crank due to rider's poor pedal stroke. See pic.
-Original Shimano chain was replaced with a new Whipperman when when it developed a few stiff links that proved unsympathetic to manipulation.
-Gear inner and outers were recently replaced.
-Brakes were bled in the last few months.
Reason for selling: I'm in Germany! I love this beast and thought I would never part with it for love nor money and then I moved overseas for both. Opting to purchase a new ride here rather than ship I'm selling this to give me some more settling money. As said above it's in great condition and will make someone very happy but at the moment I need the money. I'm shedding tears though, seriously.
Price and price conditions: Was $2400. EDIT *Now $1900 ONO* EDIT Bike will only be sold as a complete bike as I really can't be bothered parting it out. Pick-up is preferred but shipping at buyers expense might be possible.

I think most of the gear is what came standard on the bike as follows:
XT with X-0 Rear Mech and Shifters
-Gear inner and outers have been recently replaced
-Brakes have been bled
Fox F90 RL Fork
-Crown was creaking so entire upper was replaced under warranty 6 months ago. No issue since.

As I've mentioned above she's a lovely ride and I'm sad to part with her. The sadness is only been made slightly better by watching MTB World Cup races as Europe's Spring Summer seasons gets into full swing. But I'd like to know she's going to a good home. Happy hunting.
