Just wondering where, if you are running a computer on yoru dh rig, do you have the screen mounted? I am presuming that on the handlebars it will get ruined pritty quickly. Also, how did you attach it to the area it is?
Thanx

maybe you could attach it to your top tube using a couple of zipties (depending on its size). just a suggestion, probably a bad idea

The problem with the seat tube is that I have a specialized big hit so it isn't realy practical. Anyone got any advice on how to attach it to the top tube? I got a Cateye enduro 2 if that is any help

i have mine on the bars .
what way do you think that it'll get ruined?
. i've had it there for 3 years of racing and the only time it has bin ruined was when i lost one when i didn't take it out one the way home from a race.
i think that it would be anooying if it was not near your hands. unless you hand a remote start stop. then it would not matter really if you were doing DH runs.

get a thick clear plastic bag or just some clear plastic
stick it in, feed the wires through
strongly tape on the plastic with the 'puter inside it facing outwards
this way it's more water and mud proof too
disclaimer: i havn't tried this, if it doesn't work, not my fault
BTW: I smashed one off my handle bars a few months ago when I was riding on a park bench, went off the edge and went over the handle bars like a gump

If you have a blocky stem (like the Azonic Shorty) you could somehow mount it behind the bar and to one side of the stem... With DC forks (def. easier with big inverted fork) just attach it to one side of your top crown - which ive seen done before.
I should have my setup ready to go soon (hopefully) so i will get some pics up. (Even though i am only running a shimano flightdeck stopwatch, not a full 'computer' or speedo)
HINT: poxy reflector mount thingys are your friend :)
not DH but my dad has his gps incased in foam strapped to his stem
