What does PM stand for?

Hi im new to Mtb riding and new to Farkin. This is a cool site. This is probably going to be a stupid question but what does "PM" stand for? I've been looking through the place reading the threads and people say things like "if your interested in buying my bike just PM me". I'm just wondering what that means.
