WANTED: RM7 in good condition, 1999 model onwards. preferably comlete not frame only. its for a mean :twisted: downhiller who needs a knew bike so he can woop darren pockoj's arse and make him blush :oops: and me happy :P . CAUSE MY ROCK HOPPER IS FALLING TO BITS. Undersandable though as its only an xc bike. thanx Tom K

This isn't exactly on topic but, for 3.5 grand you are going to be able to pick up a pritty decent 2nd hand bike with around 6inch of travel. Look for a big hit comp or similar cause, you will get alot more bang for your bucks than a RM7. I guess what I am trying to say is it is pb a good idea not to limit yourself to just getting a RM7, rather take what is available and get riding! :)

I know that SDV had a rm7 in stock not long ago, not sure on price or if it was a frame or complete. Worth giving them a call anyway.

It's missing a rear axle, but gav will be able to hook you up with someone who can make one up. Formula is a pain to deal with, no stock, long delays. and a machined bolt up will be heaps stronger than a stock formula ( i'll show you when you buy the bike)

plus, you will have 1.5k left over when you buy my bike, you can get some boxxers on it if you want...think of the possiblities.

hey ryan, it's gonna fit 2 ac2s and a bighit, as well as 2 riders. It's done three people, stinky and an AC. (yes, my car has being stinky-tainted :cry: )

ps. do you have a 26in. wheel with 9 gears and a 6in rotor?? as i posted, the axle is snapped, but my bighit wheel fits in so you can testride, but if you wanted to race ippy on it, then i needanother wheel. not necessarily the hayes rotor, coos if got it (obviously), but undoing the torx nuts loads is a pain.

dont bother bringing it to the race if its a pain in the arse but if your could bring a picture it would be much apreciated (cant spell). i dont have a six inch rotor, as i dont have disc brakes.

hey, socket. im sorta lookin for a complete bike but i do like the norco team and i had a look at it the other day when i was browsing. if you know someone with some juniour T's or some boxxers for sale for a decent price than i'll considour it. but that probably means that i have to get some disc brakes and i dont really wanna go over 3k

And disc brakes don't cost what they used to, you can get a full set of Avid or Armor for sub-$500.

BTW, price just dropped to $900 (not $1k).

Not the RM7 you're after...but in your price range:
My mate is selling a 2001 Norco VPS TeamDH for $3500 but he's pretty flexible and im sure hed go down closer to the $3G mark.
VGC, pretty much stock, Shivers, Hayes8", Singlewide rims, FoxRC, Easton stem, RF NS cranks, Funn saddle etc etc.
Seen hardly any off-road work. (Works in a bike shop and rides it to work and back sometimes, and doesnt have enough time or money to get to races or freeride on it).

Only problem is he lives in Wagga Wagga, NSW.....

I'm selling my 2001 stinky dee lux.
selling it for about 2000 or maybe a bit less.
konas are canadian too if ur only looking at canadian bikes. ie rockymountain.
its got jrt's and pretty much good everything.
with the money left over ur could get a pair of fatty hydros, i only dont have them now cause they cost too much :?
its would be farken beefy with big hydros cause thats kinda its only weakness.

sorry to knock some of you back but since i posted the add ive heard that RM7's break too easilly(sorry man, i really like them but im looking for something that will last). and ive never really gone for the stinky dee lux. im really looking for a big hit or some thing of the sort. actually im sorta open so send me your adds if youve got a dh bike up to 2.5k. Fastrider Gus, if you could get back to me on some info. on that rm7 and what your friend thinks of how durable it is it would be much appreciated.
