2008 NSW/ACT Downhill Points

The points are attached, I have modified the classes with greater than 30 riders, the 80 points system stops at 30 so I have started at the last person to finish say 53rd at Cofs in Elite at 3 points and counted back 52nd 4, 51st 5, etc when the number of points is equal to or just under the 80 points system, I have stopped the sequence. Now I am sure that is too complicated for many of you so do not worry, the points have been adjusted.

The system used to generate points only used the final results at Canberra so non qualifers in Elite and Under 19 missed out this has been fixed. The computer system is also normal in that if there are any differences in your name it will enter you as 2 differennt people if this is the case and I have missed it PM me. I have given 1 points to DNS and 2 points to DNF.

The medals will not be ready for Round 4, we will present them on Saturday Afternoon at the Champs at AWABA.

This pointscore is incorrect, suggest you delete it until we sort it out.
Could start a riot.
Quick check against Stromlo (R1) results sheet shows quite a few errors.
Will go through the lot and forward an updated version to you for posting.
(That is will additional to the one i sent this morning.)

This version actually looks a lot like the original you sent to me before you made all the corrections a week or two ago.

Have put a fair bit into this and now believe that it is correct and up to date.
Have allocated points as per usual with minimum for completing a race run of 2 points, DNF is 1 point and DNS is 0 point.

Masters Women Coleen then Susan the only time they raced on the same track
Hardtail did not attend enough races
Junior Hradtail not enough races attended for 3rd

I guess there would have been several ways to declare a winner...like who won the first round or who lead for the whole series...
But i still don't understand how you can say you came first or you came second to two riders with equal points as each place is awarded certain points and those points end up equal? Is this count back system how its always been worked out? Don't really understand it and just feeling a bit ripped off, But whatever, Guess it was easier than having another 1st place medal made up.
