the DJ2 is 2270 grams with a 190 mm aluminium steerer, so i guess the DJ3 will be very simlar

Yeah, I saw that on weight weenies. I am presumting that that is with a 20mm axle too. I am just considering what fork I should look for the norco. I have had experience on the DJ's and I like them and with the air assit in the DJ3's it is pritty easy to pump them up harder for urban etc. It is also pritty easy to drop the travel down to 80mm or less.

haha turley, your a guru, i don't think the weight really matters for dirt jumping at all, i know that this will probably be you second/play bike but the weight of any of the current crop of single crown should be fine.

off topic: we just put some sherman flicks on doms bike tonight, and damn they are sweet, in my limited time hucking them off our carport drop and playing in the street, i'd say the are as good as my old fox forks, different but simlar qualities for there intended use.

I'm planning to get a DJ3 as the next fork for my P.3, so a review on the would be "madcore" aswell ;)

hahahhahaahhahahaha is all i have to say to weight. most major brand names.. marz, manitou should be fairly light, since they have to compete and all. but yeah the dj's are very niceee lookings forks and on fat asssss top thingy. i cant remember what the hell they call it but yeah.

i can honestly say, this woud have to be the biggest gravedig, IN THE HISTORY OF FARKIN?? or well damn close to.

but in answer to yoru question, they are considered as a heavy fork, but they are heavy as they are strong, cro-mo steerer and stanchions plus overbuilt internals.. compared to light forks which have alloy steerers and stanchiouns.

I think i read somewhere that they weigh 2.2kg's but i couldnt believe it. They have steel staunchions and steerer but one side of them is air so im not sure.. if not 2.2 im thinking around 2.5 kg's
