the aussies, even in xc are going nuts at the moment. rowney won the short course at norba 3 as above, also of note is second year senior trent lowe getting third in the short course and second in the traditional xc. while in europe sid taberlay got ninth at the recent world cup. not as good results as the dhers but note that the best aussie finish in a world cup last year was about 30th. in the women lisa mathison has been consistantly top 10 in her races, not bad for a first year senior riding her first european season.
