View Full Version : STINKY DEELUX 2001 only $1799!
hey
im selling my stinky deelux.
its got 2001 junior T's, fox rc, big boy seet, hayes mechs, lx shifters, raceface cranks, funn levers, funn stem, tompson seat post, xt hubs, sun big mammoth rims, BRAND NEW deore mech.
itl also come with a set of almost new husselfelts, two small chainrings and a bashguard, two large chainrings and a mr dirt chain device. also comes with two 2.35 inteneses and a 2.7 intense.
its not in bad condition, though a there are a few paintchips, nothing serious. its also got new pads so the brakes are fine.

Yeah if I had the money I wouldn't hesitate paying aroud 2500 for that. 1900 is way underpriced.

bout the bike, it doesnt come with the chaindevice, instead i put the original red race faces on it, with a kanine bash gaaurd and a 22-32 chainring set up. or maybe i would sell it with the chain device i dunno.
im selling it cheap cause i wanna get a p3 as soon as possible and i need to get quite a bit of money.

thats what everyones saying...up the price.
but when i ask someone how much i sell it for, they say "oh a bike like that u get 1300-1500 for..." i dont know what to think know cause u guys are saying more and their saying less
just some random at camberwell skatepark.
depends what shop i go to.
shm they say 1300, malvern the say 2000.

Well, dick, if you're having trouble with the price, and everybody says you're moving it too cheaply, sounds like the best bet would be for you to put it on eBay at your original price and see what happens.
It'll either move really fast, or you'll have a bit of a bid war and get more money. Sounds like a win-win situation to me...

If nobody's bought it even after a few weeks, obviously the price is not TOO low... if it was, it'd be gone by now!
Besides, all of $1800 is better than none of $2500 ;)

yeh i might take 1700. depends what i can get kinda.
if got two people comming and having a look and one of them said hes pretty interested. theyre expected to pay 1850 so i dunno, ill see if i can sell it for 1850 before reducing the price.

would you swap for an 02 stinky which has been upgraded a fair bit ie wheelset, forks, brakes.... they are pretty awesome jumpin bikes. look at john cowan, stinky all the way!

for what it's worth I sold my std Stinky deluxe for $2250 about 12 months ago . It was a XL so market was limited
