I recently hacked together some pedal-grind plates out of lexan type stuff and tried my hand at pedal feebles... It's much easier with a downward sloping ledge, though this one wasn't really high enough..

check out the vid right click save target as... (http://www.members.optusnet.com.au/rctb/pedalfeeb.mov) (700k, 3 sec... hows that for compression.. :? )

looky, looky...

I've been giving them ago of late, but they were taking an unholy toll on my chainring (no bashguard) and my derailleur when I got hung up. I basically came to the conclusion that I needed much tougher parts IE: singlespeed with a BMX sprocket and so, until I can dedicate a single bike to such jibbery, they'll have to wait.

yeah my bashguard is getting grinded a bit... the trick is to get the pedal lower so your bashguard/chainring doesn't contact the ledge, also gets the mech outta the way too.

the bolt on my mech has been grinded a bit, it's all about getting the pedal low, so it lifts the drivetrain outta the way. But i'll be riggin up a 26" SS wheel soon to see how that goes...
