Hey ppl,

You guys are always saying how come our dirt jumps get knocked down by the council? well for those of you who ever have had this happen to you. you will understand how pissed of one get's to find your fun filled air time spot has been level'd in the interests of public saftey.

Now getting to the point the council down at lylidale has said that Rabbit hill jups will be smashed if we dont talk to them about it, this is finally our chance to reason with them and to hopefully keep the jumps ther fo good so we need as many riders as possible mtb's or bmx's, who cares as long as we get the point across that we lurve our jumps and that we can keep the area in a resonable state im not sue about a date or time but i think kingcooper is the guy to talk to.

COME ON HELP OUT SOME MTB BUDDIES IF IT CAN HAPPEN TO ONE PARK IT COULD HAPPEN TO YOURS!!!

ok i have been talking to brad that is the park manager so far he wants us to keep the place free of all rubbish ,no cutting down any trees and the make shift bridge across the creek has to be removed that is a must and as for the meeting he can only meet with us mon to fri between 4:00 and 5:00 so we need to organise a time when it suits every body and i will give him a call
if you want to know more we can even meet at rabbit hill ourselfs and talk about it in more detail .So i can be there on the weekend if you are interested and we can have our own meeting to organise what and when

There the rules you are going to have to go by with any non-council built jumps we got the old-ivanhoe jumps approved by the council cause we didn't cut down trees and dealt with rubbish so you should have a pretty good chance,
and the things they will plough your jumps for are cutting down trees, damaging trees(cutting off bark etc), having rubbish around the jumps area and any built stunts.

possibly because they get in the way of jumps and people want straight boring sets, not sets that have some variation and turn here and there.

it's sorta near lillydale station about a 5 min ride maybe a lil more a pretty slack ride too (ie pretty flat)

we built brick work and we also have the key for the gate if i can find it
we also spoke to the councel about brick works about a year ago and they said we can use that area as well.

hey you wanna do some work on the jumps this saturday cause i went there sunday and they were looking a bit run down and some one moved the shovels and wheel barow so we couldent fix em

If you're doing work on the rabbit jumps josh, cut a bit out of the first lip of the two bigger doubles to steepen it up, that way itll kick you up more and you can pump out of it a bit more.

well me and my mate rebuilt it about three months ago but people keep wrecking it and it has been wet so we haven't been there for a couple of weeks
we also have been organising it with the councel so i think that because we have been doing all the work that we have the right to say what go's and what doesn't.

Thats reasonable enough, we wern't planning on fully recutting the jumps, but josh has found that first double to be either a little sort, or not high enough to pump into the second double properly, how do you guys hit it?

hey thats cool guy's i ment that we don't want to do all this work and then have some one come along thats only been there 5 minutes and start changing things that very bodyelse likes any way if you want to get involved we are demolishing the big 20 footer and puting in a big 4 pack so come on down and help and then you can put your input into how the jumps are made also i ride an avanti hotdog
