Is bachuss marsh 4X still on August 17th cos thats when Rob Roy is schedualed for?

Who will be going to what?


and just some race dates from the ftf website.

-Rob Roy DH 17th of August
-Granton DH 7th of September
-Rob Roy DH 26th of October
-Mt Beuty DH, 4X, XC 29-2nd October.Novemver
-Avoca DH 15th November

what i've heard

-Trafalger 4X 5th October
-Bachuss Marsh 4X 17th August

Please anybody correct me if these dates are wrong or unconfimed

I don't think the 2nd Rob Roy race you listed is going to happen...

From the FTF Committe-

the race on the 17th is being rescheduled. The 2nd robroy race is not happening- it is a 5 race series. at this stage the presentations for the overall winners will happen at a big event planned for early oct.

When we have decided on a new date I will put a notice up on the front page- the only reason i have not yet done this is due to the date confliction.

2) no money (how much to race DH at rob roy?)
3) dont think i can get there

Its about $40 for rob roy.
You have to start somewhere
and i might be able to give you a lift.

may not cost as much as last time- we-re still doing the numbers. there will only be one race run too.

Simo- rob roy is the best track to start on if you haven't raced before. Youll regret not giving it a go. Where do you live? sombody ought to be able to give you a lift...

As far as racing experience goes, you don't need any. No courses (that are used for racing) are difficult at all, even if you completely suck the courses aren't unrideable. Besides, my first race was at Granton last year, in the mud (and I mean real mud)... *shudder*
