Such an overwhelmingly positive review then you gave it 6.5/10?

how is it overwhelming ?? I gave it plenty of good points and also pointed out it's negatives.

being in the movie and having it feature quite a'lot of your local racing wouldn't suggest you are biased would it ?

I thought it was a very solid film .. however to bring it up to above average ratings it needs more Aussie "pro" racing. Although it is great to see local racing particularly if you are from that area. People from other parts may loose attention after first viewing.

I have already been told by a rival film maker that the boys behind Inertia are going to take it over-sea's next year to capture Norba/WC racing.

There is always room for improvement.

Farkin is always about Honest reviews .. we are not out to kiss anyones ass. I hope that people read the review which I thought analyzed the film thoroughly and not just look at a rating ??

Also .. reviews from AMB/mtbfreak etc etc .. are about 10 words long it's almost like the reworded the blurb. We have all debated that before in other threads.

Congrats to Matt and his crew and I hope they received a positive return in sales. Look for an inertia giveaway/competition soon.

I'm not questioning your honesty or the quality of what you said, just that you hardly said anything bad about it, then gave it a relatively low score... why? I just re-read it, and I still couldn't find much, if any criticism of the film. About the worst that was said was "Although it doesn't have the big name riders blah blah, it does well inspiring you to get out and ride" (not a direct quote). To make it extremely clear, the only issue I am raising is the apparent difference between what you said verbally (yes text is technically verbally) and how you rated it out of 10.

It's not a big issue anyway, don't shit your pants over it.

I'll take the blame for the score. Dom actually gave it a higher mark, and I thought it deserved a slighly lower one. We reached a compromise and the mark 6.5 was given.
