Someone (B&C?) sent in a couple screenshots from the up and coming DH game. Check em out here ('http://www.farkin.net/forums/viewalbum.php?a=23').

I find it hard to imagine a game ever really catching mountain biking's feel. One of the great appeals about it is that there are soo many factors of balance and style that keep you on the bike, trying to control a bike with a computer (or console) in a realistic manner would be impossible.

Yea, it's only a game. Maybe in the future we will have like bike simulators or something along those lines :). Nothing is as good as the real thing.

They better have hardtails in it.

I dont think you could ever get a computer game to simulate the feel of riding a bike...like pana said theres way to many factors involved.

But hey, it might be a cool game when ur really pissed after a good days riding?! :P

yea hmmm, looks okay, I dont like how they had to put all those tricks in to make it playable, but yea, not bad, at least theres something. right?

Nothing like that feeling when you're about to try that new jump, and you know the odds are against you, but you just want to do it anyways. Or when you are going down the singletrack, and just want to go that extra bit faster, and let off the brake lever a tad more for that extra bit of adrenaline to go through your body. Or is that just me.... :D

Looks like they're pretty big on BigHits with Breakouts, which is weird seeing as Specialized a) don't spec Manitou forks on any models I've seen and b) don't have 1.5 headtubes.

I can't believe I just nitpicked a video game.

no sim's gonna be like the real thing, when playing a flight sim you dont get the G-forces or the impared judgement due to fatigue and exhaustion.

It's a game. IF someone burnt it for me i would play it. Would i pay for it? No
