goddam i watched no. 1 thought i would die on the spot. dam theyre sooo cool. ive seen 1 2 and 3 so far. in no. 4 theres gonna be some grant allen in it i think. anyone heard of these movies.

What did you expect from Canadian's! ha. Yes I agree it's not the best of mtb movies, but it is a series that you can show to a non mtb rider, and they'll hapilly sit and watch the whole way through.

I like the Kranked videos a tad more though.

2 was pretty good, but three was heaps better. Then the other day i got Kranked 5, and that is the best mtb movie i've ever seen!

Some of the music is too slow in Kranked 5, but most of it was awesome. I dindn't particulary like those stupid 'in beetwee scene animations'. And way too much of the movies these days are 50% slowmotion. My all time favourite video is JIB. :)

Despite no.3 being so damn good, no.2 had the Nico segment! He's so smooth even when it's really rough. No.3 had the best crash segment thow.

IMO Kranked 4 was still better than Kranked 5. The riding, soundtrack, and even the animations were heaps better. Sprung 5 is still a good contender, shame there isn't going to be a Sprung 6 :cry:

i've seen a few of the video's you're all talkin about and they all sucked pretty hard in my opinion.. ride to the hills was kinda alright.... None of them got me pumped to go riding... The flashy big-budget and super dooper locations don't do it for me...

The one North Shore Extreme I have is pretty grass-roots but good, has Wade Simmons etc just riding with mates...

Seen all the others of the Kranked and Disorder series, they all have their place.
The music is always good and suited to the riding, that's what makes these bigger productions.

see if you guy's can get a hold of Transcontinental.... easy one of the best racing vid's ever made, even now about 5 years later i can still watch it time and time again. Sprung 5 would also come pretty close. SuperHero's was gay, anyone want to buy the DVD off me? Havent seen Ride To the Hills so i cant say .NWD series makes hucking look so good and the new one is supposed to have more race footage, if you havent watched the teaser you need too, Barrelcloths (sp?) 360 drop is sweet.

i prefer the disorder videos just cause they seem to be so much better quality-wise (as in the shooting, editing, music and above all riding are pretty shmick). i don't mind kranked, but i think there's a limit to how many times you can watch someone riding a 'long super steep'. i agree about the slo-mo and repetition things though.

i just bought the down/double down dvd this arvo nice and cheap (go jb's) and they don't seem to be too bad, i've only watched the first one though. the quality doesn't seem to be as good as disorder/kranked/rtth etc. but there's practically no slo mo and it seems to be a lot more grass roots type of stuff (sort of like mudcows which i loved, but not so much of the lifestyle). its all good.

i odnt know why people are bagging out slow-mo, if it's used in the right spots i think it can normally be the difference between a good flick and an average one.
