I was wondering if anyone knew when the 04 bike are being released/ shown. I know that the Kona's are out (and have seen the GT Dhi), but what about the new Norco's and Giants (in particular AC's).

some norco pics have been shown on pinkbike.
Stuff usually gets shown 3-6 months before it's actually buyable... my potential new (04) DH bike is supposed to get here in October, and from what I've seen in the past, the new Norcos and stuff will probably start coming in in dribs and drabs in september or so.

Ok i have just seen all of the Giant range for 2004 !!!
And i can say they uped-the-anti for 2004 speacially the AC range tha AC1 has >>>*cough*manitou*sliders*cough* :)
Also alot of work has gone into the XC range of bikes, including the likes of Carbon rear ends and so forth, and the VT range has expanded to 3 models.
DH bikes are similar to last year the Dh comp has had its parts list changed but frame wise they are the same *cough*manitou*sliders*cough* :)
the 2004 konas are already up.
they dont really have a hardcore hardtail like the p3 or torrent though/

Some 2004 bikes are already on the floor (there's a big difference betweenh having pics on the net and bikes on the floor), and we've already walked over a dozen '04 BMXs out the door.
As for the mtb's basic bikes are starting to make their way into shops right now, but the higher end stuff you guys are interested in will start to show up about october. Maybe some will be in before, some you might have to wait longer. Best bet is to go ask your LBS.
where did you see the 04 giant range ride_guy?

Wait until after the trade show (september) and you'll see more of them.

They haven't released them, they've just shown protos about.

Naa i didnt get any pics but ther catalogs will bve out fairly soon, as for prices i know ther a some pretty good values bikes coming out for the parts ur getting.

My bikeshop had the giant rep in on thursday with prices and spec sheets ac1 around the same price $4,500 with the dual crown manitou sliders with 150mm travel,and dh comp are 4,700 with the sliders 170mm of travel think the dh team are around 6,500 with dorado's .Think most of the specs pretty similar to last years models.

what about the entry level models, in partic AC3? Im a bit poor at the moment.

From what i've seen there won't be an ac3 the ac2 will be around $3600 with manitou shermans, basically last years ac1.There will also be a vt 1,2@3 with the vt1 around the $4500 mark, also the dh team is $7500 not $6500 as i previously posted.Best to check with your bikeshops for deals.

GT, Kona, Cannondale have some 04 stuff on their sites, your LBS should already have some 04 Giants on the floor. The good stuff from them is not going to be available for a while yet. :(
about middle of september is when you will start to see them in mags and on there web sites

If any1 wants ginat catalogs they should be out now at ur lbs if they stock Giant, if they aint ther then stiff..

AC1 for $4500 and comes with previously mentioned Sherman Sliders, Swinger 4 way shock, Race Face North Shore cranks w/ bashring, Diabolus stem and Easton 31.8mm bars, Hayes Mag Hydros, XT and XTR mix of shifters and derailers, Mavic tubeless rims, Michelin 2.5's so on and so forth.
AC2 retails for around $3500 and comes with Sherman Fireflys and Swinger 3 way shock but I can't remember the rest of the gear on it. I don't think there's an AC3 this year.

All I know is that the Norco A-lines are $3999...Hayes 8" hydros, 888's, Fox RC, Hussefelts, Titec, Alex rims...I'm buying one.

i just built up a 04 noco bigfoot and it looks very nice but thats the nicest 04 nocro we have got in so far
yeah i have seen the new bigfoot much more like a sasquatch than the old bigfoot. Rode real nice to. One in stock at Ashgrove Cycles. $1400 or somthing simmilar.
