Hey hey, there we go!
I didn't want to say anything myself for fear that I was noobishly missing something......as I tend to do :o
Look forward to reading it when I'm sober.

I reckon if they really tried they could have made it a bit more uglier.

Another helmet for the ....how to put it nicely....large hat-sized rider is the Vigor Vamoose II. Go-ride.com sells them for US$129.00 (which at present exchange rates is about Au$200 shipped) for a carbon helmet that has plenty of ventilation and not bad looks (check the Go-ride web-site). I have moved on to a D2, which I wear in an XL/XXL, but a Medium in the Vigor fit as well. Their sponsored riders all wear them (including the top US finisher @ the World Champs last year), and mine took a heap of knocks and stood the test. I only got rid of it because a local guy asked me to throw it in when i was selling a bike!

i got mine from stead cycles at Berisfield (sp) near Newcastle. try a shop that specializes in bmx. pryme is a bmx company. $200 but i got mine for cheaper cos my dad knows the owner. wish he sold other brands besides gt and mongoose so i could of got a decent DJ bike for cheap off him.

Could have sworn that I put the $199rrp. in the article somewhere ;) .
Supply should be easy too, the distributor is "BMX International" and any shop should be able to order from them. Drop into your LBS and ask, or look for shops that carry Odyssey and Snafu gear, as they'll probably do pretty regular orders from BMX Int.
Mr Plow, it really does look better in the flesh (although the fact that it's absolutely huge doesn't help.

Thats the helmet you were wearing that day we went for a ride out the back wasn't it?
If so, looked not bad in the flesh.

The Evil Pro is the top line helmet from the lower key BMX company and is available in both hand-laid fiberglass ($199) and carbon fibre ($399) versions.
