Is the Trafalgar 4x track open to the public?
i wouldn't mind goin up there and giving it a go.

nope it's not open to the public only on race days theres one coming up in the next few months i think

I was up there a while ago and they said they were going to have an open day in the next couple of weeks.

the track is sweet since it has been re-built but it isn't open to the public at all due to insurnace. have to wait for open days

I live right near it but never been :P i think there was races there a few days ago... im pretty sure my parents know the people who own the area up there :S

There are a heap of dj's up there to right next to the camp up there.. i went on them with a 4 wheeler motie.. they were awesome !

on the subject of it being rebuilt i went to the site and they improve everything including a massive jump which they tested on a moto!!!

where are the dirt jumps up there? are they private property or can anyone ride them whenever?

The dj's are on the side of the lake near the camp cabins up there.. they are entirely private.. ill be sure to be there on the next open day !

Have you guys checked out the Trafalgar website? Its www.vicnet.net.au/~fourx. We are updating the site at least every week and THERE WILL BE AN OPEN DAY BEFORE THE STATE CHAMPS which are on 5 Oct.

I would say it is. It is designed so anyone can ride it. However it certainly aint designed so everyone can clear everything. Depending on how much decent jumping you have done will determine how you'll go on race day but there is C grade for novices. Give that a go.

they had to test the jumps out on a moto apparrently.. they are made for the biker X track though.. private prop so wait untill the next open day, i think there is a race coming up there soon too...
