What's going on with Waurn Ponds DJ's???? (Any Geelong ppl?)
We were there at the skate park last week, Cindie rode the DJ's, but it looks like only the tiny table top line ever gets used. The middle doubles are bigger than most of the average doubles I've seen, and the gaps look too big. The big line is just too big for just about everyone, i'd say the dirt mounds are 12 to 15 foot, and the start mound isn't really big enough to do much for them.
Is the council waiting for the locals the sculpt it? We spoke to some locals, and they said the dirt got dumped about 2 months ago, but not much since.
Anyone out there going to do something with it (fastrider ppl's?)???. Anyone got a tipper truck and a bobcat, it's good dirt and I don't think greater Geelong will miss it (just kidding)?!

the jumps there are sorta forgotten.. they thought it would be a good idea to make some new jumps, but obviously werent with it...
we dont even bother with that place anymore...
if we want to DJ i have a big double with a few lines at my place in Fyansford.. or we just go to ballarat.

How long ago was the dirt dumped? The middie line and the big line look like they have practically seen no tyres (infact the big line is still totally clumpy mud pretty much).
Where are the 20 inchers going in Geelong to DJ if not there?
Geez, if mounds that big were dumped in Melbourne, they'd be swarmed on.

What about the track out at Breakwater? Does any one use that anymore? I went there the other day, the place was pretty damn wet, water was everywhere. It looked like some fools on moties had been there too, cause they'd ripped some of it up good and propper.

THere a lot of potential for the waurn ponds track but at the moment its just crap. I live about 2 kilometers from the track and dont know of any other good jumps in geelong. If anyone wants to fix the track up I'll come down and help.
waurn ponds are getting rebuilt by professional jump builders in the near future!!!
