Wow!
I wonder if it's worth the train trip up there, that'd make for some pretty good riding.

ummm...... take it from someone who works 5 minutes away, the place is horrible!!!! props for the good intentions but someone forgot to tell the council that you need to maintain jumps, they are all rutted and scary. its always windy and some of the kickers are just plain silly!!!
when you get there, you'll absolutely wet yourself with excitement, the photos you see are pretty much spot on, but once you get close up, its a different story. make sure you gear up too, because it takes hours to pick all the road base out from under your skin!!!
what is good though, go get some food and just sit in the park and watch!! its hysterical, if you're into blood sports, people just axing themselves ALL day, like really axing themselves!!!
enjoy!!

Being a surfer I have to wonder if there's some "locals only" going on here?
Probably not as we are all Bros on wheels here but old habits die hard.
Still looking to go up there even for a day in about 2 weeks

I've ridden it once, and what chucksrockwell has said is basically the truth. The place has potential, but when I was there a few months ago it was all rutted out and absolutely rock hard. Still it's kinda fun to ride, but I wouldn't make a trip especially for it. If you are coming up maybe you should plan to check it out and then go out to Ourimbah for some shuttling.

Damn that place looks sweet, but after hearing a couple of reviews, i don't feel so bad now! Still looks like it's worth a checkout sometime in the near future.
Yeah looks cool...but like they say, looks can be decieving!

ive been there a few times and it was built by the council, so the downramps on the large jumps are way to steep if you dont make the down ramp but other then that it is good fun and there is a hight jump put in for some fun and a dual track was being fixed up as in the pic but its is only fun for a few hours and only 1hour on a dually but on a hardtail you can just roll through the area between the jumps and still over jump them but thankfully usually the wind is from behind when jumping so it doesnt effect you

Props to Wyong Shire Council for approval for the park to go ahead. Good to see there are some people in power out there recognising a need for such facilities. This gives us riders from other areas a 'foot in the door' when speaking to local councils...
Sounds like it does need regular maintenance though, and by people who know how to build decent jumps, if everything's getting windblown and fried into hardpack crashing nastiness.
There's a pub pickup line for ya... "so what do you do?" "i'm a dirt jump maintenance technician."
If only more local authorities were somewhat more accepting of those of us that like to jump off things, and less worried about getting sued...

I've ridden it twice, i dont think the condition is as bad as some were saying, you have Mountain Bikes you shouldent be complaining about ruts, and someone else was saying the ground was hard, then dont fall off :-) ... down ramps are fine you just need a bit more skill to ride them, the bad points are, there are no lips, not like normal jumps the gradient is the same throughout the whole up ramp. The biggest problem is the jumps get smaller as you go down the hill picking up speed so brake checking is needed. Lot's of potential but still fun, it's great for those guy's that can jump well on BMX tracks, but somthing happens when they see great big holes inbetween dirt jumps and they become pussies.Tim

I believe its gravel topped tar with dirt landing zones. I didnt actually ride it the other day just dropped by to check it out and snap some pix of some local rippers.

I have ridden San Remo 3 times now in the last 6 months and have never had a problem. The in ramp is tared, but the top and landing is all dirt. I have never seen it rutted out at all. It might be being maintained now???
The down ramps are fine for landing on. Not sure what people are wingeing about.

san remo is ok but the lips arent real good and the landings on the last set ARE rutted out the only set that is normal to jump is the 3rd as others are either to small or screwed. lately there has been a vert bowl put in and stair set.... slalom run is fun if you are bored and decided to race against someone?!
good park to jump but does need to be maintainied.
not far from budgewoi (SP?) BMX track so ive heard never been there but might go and check it out soon?
