Big Perth City Ride (Saturday 27th September)

Okay. I was thinking of us Perth riders meeting up sometime this month and have a days riding in the city.

I am thinking from 9am till whenever. Just take a massive cruise and hit stuff up around the city.

Lets make something happen.

EDIT: This is a Perth city ride, if you guys wanna organise a trailride then that is okay (maybe start another thread), but it is easy for most people to meet in the city. It'd be too hard for some of us youngins to make it to the trails.

NOTICE: Date has been changed, check below.

Details:
Official date is now 27th September, meeting @ trainstation, towards the right of the infokiosk where the bridge to the library is between 9 am and 9:25 am. Ride till whenever. We will be hopefully going to many locations, will have lunch break somwhere @ own expense or something @ maccas/HJ's/Subway etc... Bring spare tubes and money... and of course a lid.

Okay, so we will be visiting heaps of places during the length of the day.

Trials riders will most likely show up to show us what they can do :) Should be sweet with a massive variety of riders there! 8)

Lunch will be around 12/1pm [we'll work it out there and then!]

Also, please suggest places where we can go, there are no set places, we will be working it out on the day :)

We will be heading off at about 9:25 so be there a tad earlier. :D

also, last time i went into the city for a ride i couldn't see anything to ride. i can be pretty imaginative with lines and all, but really there isn't much to ride on. please tell me where and what you ride.

two things

1:neither the 11th nor the 18th is good for me (the entire weekends). i got my 18th b'day on OCT 12th, and wanna hang out with my mates on the 11th, and the 18th is the date set for one of my friends 18th b'day party (she'll be pretty angry if i dont rock up)

2: i could drive 3 ppl without cars to the trails, myself and riding buddy make up the five seats in my car.

just about any other time is cool for me, i think... :?

Actually, Bonnet, I thionk it is too much of a hassle, most people can make it to the city relatively easy and I do think many more people would be able to turn up. I say we make this a city ride, and perhaps organie a dwellingup ride for sometime later on.

If any of you, other then myself and Adin, have ridden East Perth before, I know you'll be trying to join us on this ride, its a quality area for urban, I personally dont like the city, although there is still quite a bit to ride there. But East perth is excellent, you'll love it ;), and they have a good subway there :D

It was a wikid track i rekon, it suited HT's pretty well and that hip jump was good 4 styling! This stair gap is over near glouster(sp?) park, near the police station.
Quite a nice size, but i got no guts to do it, i'll blame it on the bike.....damn bike....

BTW, i advise any of you to go to rally Aus at glouster, its bloody wicked compared to langely park, only $15 for the standing area =))

Aint going to the bush stages (as much as bunnings is wicked) due to study n all that sorta crap...

But yeh, back to bikes.... Im pretty sure i'll be down for half of the day at least, hopefully the full day, i'll just do mass study for the week before

yup thats him. His name is Joel. he stacked on the jump on the dwellingup dh course and splash landed in the middle on his seat pole. He went off the the left of the jump bailed and his grips came off and his ate it big time. OUCH

if you have found the trainstation and are on the platforms, go up any of the escalators and go LEFT all the way until you are on the bridge, I'm sure if we are in the general area on the bridge we'll all see each other
