Well, to be honest, I dont' think I can realy dream of anything better than what I already got. The frame is the heart and sole of a bike and in my opinion, the big hit frames are up there with the best of them. Not the best bike for all tracks but damn good for most. What else can you want/expect from a bike.

i like being able to fix everything easy on the bike, hydro fluid is just too much hassle when avid's rock out and are simple as it gets. I like not having to worry about anything, and keep things as simple as possible.

I guess there is not a huge difference, but my 6" avids don't quite have the power that my 6" XT did.

There is a difference, but it's not much. Mainly due to the lower efficiency of the cable setup as compared to fluid, I think - there's a bit of flex in the caliper arm, a bit of stretch in the cable, and it all adds up.

Go to unrealcycles.com and have a look around there you can get some really cheap new bike frames/parts/forks/etc due to the rise of the australian dollar lately. and i mean reaaly cheap (dj1's about $650 excluding shipping which is very cheap)
