The NS one? Or the launchy thingy?

Yeah I know, it made you and trev look slow too.
I couldn't understand how I could go at least as fast as you in that bottom section, but couldn't keep up at all up the top... must be all that Dandy experience or somethin.

haha yeah i dunno either i think i was taking the corner too wide out of the dam i'll have to see where you go next time so i can do it faster :D

not the NS...although that was originally meant to be just a drop!!! no rol-in just drop to rocks...but the guy who built it farked himself up a few too many times
i'm talking about the drop which takes off just to ur left as u turn down the hill out of the final part of the rock section...u land on the track but take off just next to it
i told josh about it...dunno if he could work it out

i think so but it look dodge as hell like no real landing
Commander Dilsnikk
07-09-2003, 09:58 PM
nah the landing's big coz it's that downslope out of the rocks but it's difficult to get onto coz of some obstacles next to the take off
ok...i give in...it's pretty dodge...only one person actually managed to ride away properly!!! the other two of us ended up somewhere down to the side of the track....it could be made good though if we sorted out one of the trees that stops u launching properly

well when we head up we'll take shovles and see what we can do ;)

sounds like a plan
did u guys have any luck finding that drop they said was bulldozed???
and did u ride the trails on the other side of the ridge???
oz-freerider
07-09-2003, 10:02 PM
yeah it's not bull doze but socket said some of the take off was missing i dot see how u do it theres trees right in front of it either side!! and nah we havent been down the other side i've been told it's not worth the walk back up
Commander Dilsnikk
07-09-2003, 10:05 PM
yeah some of it is damn fast but it's not exactly challenging technically...
and yeah....the walk back up is hell!!!
Commander Dilsnikk
07-09-2003, 10:06 PM

oz-freerider
07-09-2003, 10:27 PM
the flicks i was going to get the fireflys but i couldnt see a point of paying an extra 300buxs for ti springs
Commander Dilsnikk
07-09-2003, 10:31 PM
where from??
how much???
i wanna upgrade the '01 z5s that came on my bike and i've heard many good things about shermans
how have u found them??? versus ur old psylos???
oz-freerider
07-09-2003, 10:34 PM
much stiffer than my psylo's i got em for a touch under 1000 but they retail for like 1100 with 20mm hex lock axle i'm just in the middle of making them suit me i just got heaver springs now i'll have a fiddle with other things but they have been great so far GREAT for nose manuals
oz-freerider
07-09-2003, 10:34 PM
oh and i got them from croydon cycle works
Commander Dilsnikk
07-09-2003, 10:36 PM
yeah...pity i can't do nose manuals...
ah well i can always learn
but first i should get some money if i'm gonna contemplate new forks
it's not exactly gonna happen since i need a new seat (rails bent and now it comes loose every time i ride), a ff helmet and some new gloves
oh well i can always dream
Commander Dilsnikk
07-09-2003, 10:37 PM
jensonusa has fireflys at less that flicks at the moment....it's so tempting...$400US
i'd have to get a new front hub though
Commander Dilsnikk
07-09-2003, 10:38 PM
coz the qr one is still at $500US
oz-freerider
07-09-2003, 10:44 PM
hmmm 500us isnt really cheap.. after you put postage and what not on them... 400us is oright but i'd rather buy from a shop over here incase i have warrenty isue's
Commander Dilsnikk
07-09-2003, 11:06 PM
yeah...and u gotta support local riders/ shops
yeah...and u gotta support local riders/ shops
The warranty issue is probably more of a problem with something like forks, which have a relatively high rate of fucking up.
