Will be one of Graves, Rennie, Kovarik and Hannah. I can't realy say who will be the best but the form the jared was in before he left, who knows what he will do. Hannah doing 180km road loops 4 times a week so he is in peak condition for fitness and rennie and kovarik have the experience behind them at world level. Wodie, winning national series put him in good suite too.. I don't think I can say who will be the best but just that they will all do realy well by the end of the year. The french pssh, aussies are dominating like french of old.

How cool is it that we get to ride the same tracks that the world's best train on!! And we even got to race with them at Felcrag.

Yeah Turley, I ran into CK at Clear about 2 months ago. Would have liked to have seen him hit up the gap jump, but I was waiting for my friend to show up with the shuttle mobile.

Who's going to do the best? CK! The two jareds, rennie, sam, hannah, waddel and the others are all some of the best riders in the world but CK just seems to be able to pull it all together when it matters. Last year he won every race he entered overseas until he smashed himself. There is only one other rider i can think of thats done anything like that and thats Nico.

Don't get me wrong, all the other riders have the ability to podium at world cups but overall i reckon CK has got it.

Did anyone manage to beat Sam Hill last year (in Juniors I mean)?

Ryan

CK's got the experience and can put it together when it counts but Graves is in some great form and beat him the last 2 times they raced over here (if I remember correctly) so I reckon watch for those 2 early in the season. Waddell, Rennie, Hill, Hannah; the list of guys who can crack the podium is a long one, so it's tough to make a call really, it's all good as far as I'm concerned.
Hill should be a shoe in for JR World Champ again this year, the kids just a freak on the bike (in a good way) but watch out for those young punks Klein and Ronaldson at JR Worlds, I hear they're pretty quick too.

Yeah CK always seems to do well in the WC ..
although he didnt win here in Aus .. i reckon hes just smart .. and took it easy. - He could of had the WC title last year if not for axeing himself big time.

he could of had the Norba aswell .. if not for his rim blowing up .. cause he rides too fast.

Imagine a Norba title and WC title ?

I think Jared will also turn heads again .. all of the aussies will turn heads again ...

I think in the Jr's .. youll see the dude who posted above do well .. Rillie should also get his arse over their .. Hill should have it in the bag again ..

Also the southern jr's like Mclaughlin will be solid.

Cody Warren from US might do well aswell .. and the french always seem to produce a strong Jr.

What a seaon it will be.

I have a niggling about Mick Hannah though .. this dude if a farking axe .. according to sources in Cairns .. he has been absolutey busting his ass trainning .. and when i saw him go through that rock garden at Beuy ... man he was smoking.

Either way i think it's safe to say that .. Aussies will be a threat this year in any race.

Bring on the first WC and Norba.

watch out for panozzo aswell, 4th at the last NORBA. He has a point to prove after being dropped by Santa Cruz.

Sam's a shoo in, unless he stacks or has something wrong with his bike.

Rennie will tear it up.

I dont think he was dropped as such by Santa Cruz, I dont beleive Santa Cruz have a team anymore .. It used to be Sunrace Santa Cruz

he now rides for WTB Santa Cruz , They ride Santa Cruz Bikes hes Still on a V10.

Johnny Waddell is on a new team aswell ... ITS which is Same sort of Deal but Intense Tyres .. Riding Santa Cruz bikes.

Sunrace Santa Cruz is no more i beleive.

The wtb team is a privater ride from what I have heard and that he was dropped by sun race santa cruz for the houseman? bros.
Could be wrong but i did here this from his little bro, as I was up at beauty skiing with him on monday. Mind you little brothers tend to think they know more then they actually do.

Accroding to Steve Marsh who was sharing a room with him at the Red Bull ride, he will most likly wont be riding jr at the worlds. The other rider to look for at the worlds this year liam Panozzo.

My tip for doing well oversea next year in Steve Marsh, he was going to go over this year, but he is training instead he even rode a 24 hour event last weekend. I havent seen him on his Dh bike for months, (he only ever uses it to race on and not train on). This guy will do well on more tech tracks as long as he dose not have to pedal and his knee holds up.

Yeah for sure, Liam is super quick if he can hold it together and stay upright. He cant wait to get over there!

I think Rennie is going to do the best this year, afterall, he is ranked no. 1 in the UCI standings at the moment.

It's weird, but I heard the same rumor too Jared. Then I thought, "they made Anne Caro race in juniors when she was posting times fast enough to win the senior title" and realised it was probably a lie.

That's funny because the year that AC tried to race in seniors and another rider complained was from memory it was 95. The funny thing was that on time she would have been second.

AS for riders racing out of their age division there have been a few from memory even an Australian's Sean McCarroll in 98 and maybe 97. I could be well be wrong, but I am sure there have been riders riding out of their classes before, but with AC I think that she was so good that many people complained. As for Sam I thought it was strange, but its what I have been told. It would be far too easy for him to win in JR so why not step it up.

yeah... ive talked to sam about worlds and hes definatly racing jrs and to quote him. "i cant wait for worlds, but after winning last yr if i didnt win this year id be pretty pissed" hes always talked about racing worlds as a jr, never as a senior, but i can understand why people would think he would try to race up

I am only going by what i have been told by Marshy and what he was given the impression of by Sam at the Red Bull Ride.

Dont know of many riders in Jr that could beat him, Sam is bound for big things. A friend of mine who used to sponser him (cortina importer) signed him after hearing storys from several rider out of WA. He also gave up hope of keeping him sponsered after the first time he went OS, because he was pretty sure that he would be signed by a big company and he ended up being right (lucky as well because he went broke). It hard to believe that he is that age and doing that well.
