Ah, ok, I just remember on another forum the software was upgraded (it was phpbb, maybe it was the change to ver 2?) and despite the admin's best efforts all the old stuff went to shit (including post counts :shock: ....... )

i think we're pretty safe in that department...

i do full site backups weekly and full database backups every 3 days... even if an upgrade screwed up something we could revert back with minmal lose.

that table that was causing you trouble socket (and some others) fully decided to stop working tonight. i did a quick repair and it seems thats what was needed.

This is probably related... I got that same error message all day Wednesday 1/10 then ok by Thurday morn but now I'm not getting ANY email notifications at all... not even of PM's.
