ill be there, in last place either on a grey 01 125 with DJ1's or on a black GT lobo,. decide which 2 take dring the week, and yes if it rains ill be doing the typical piking as ussual!

Will be nice to race a track other than rob roy for once, ths is a first track time for me.

I want to go up but i am not sure if my parents will take me. If i'm there i'll be on my Norco Bigfoot, most likely by myself.

Went up to Granton to check out Bennys track upgrades and the boys have cleaned up a few jumps and made the log drop into a bigger jump than the one we put in on the the long track,I hope no one gets a ambo ride on sunday out of this one as I have only seen 2 elite riders clear it,although its rollable you cant pull up half arsed as you will land on the up ramp and G out and then hug the big tree that has the mattress around it as I have already seen one elite rider do it.looks like it might be wet as it was on sunday and there was even a bit of snow up the top there yesterday.

Whereabouts is this jump? Is it right down the bottom, or is it just after the start of the singletracky stuff?

I went up late on Sunday to ride and yeah-heaps of hail then sleet. That big jump though, there is going to be a b-line but it definatly slows you down heaps, or there is kinda a way to get over the big one off to the left...

This track is starten to sound sweet hope fully the weatehr holds up for us im sick of mud racing.

Did you ride it at the race last year? If not, you don't know what mud is...

no i didnt- i didnt even know what dh mtb was back then!!! but yes ive heard stories about it- it was almost a foot deep in running water-flash flood style- i didnt actually say it was'muddy' did i???

Well last year it was almost a foot deep in mud... people were stacking on straight sections... people's wheels were locking to the frames (and they didn't notice), you couldn't pedal cos the chain just skipped, brakes did shit all (not that it mattered cos you couldn't stop/turn anyway) etc.

Socket,that jump is the first one when you turn left on to the short track after the first lefthand hair pin,you cant miss it.Cindie I was up there with Ben,Karl,Steve,Sean,Tony,Matt,Alex on Sunday morning and did a few runs and deciced to leave early as the track was cutting up where the boys did the work,when we left there was about 10 other riders turned up,some from Vic mtb.So the track will need another clean up where the track had'nt settled before sunday.See you there....[/quote]

I think I know the one... log drop thingy into a little gully, that comes out into a right-hand corner? My memory of the track is a bit hazy, haven't been there for about a year!
