Hey dudes,
For the last couple of days I have had to log in each time manually, even though I have checked the box to say login automatically. Just thought you might want to know.

PM Pana or another admin about this. It could just be a simple cookie problem.

this is a strange problem that only occurs in some situations (the worst kind of problem).

For example: my machine here at work logs me off everytime i open the site in a new browser. I have cookies enabled and security set to low (most compatability).

However, my 3 machines at home dont have this problem (including my machine running redhat).

Not sure what to do about this... will just have to poke around for a while to figure out whats up.

My puter does a similar thing Pana, I'm not sure it it logs me off, but I get an invalid_session message if I have the site open in more than one window and try to post in one of them.

i have a feeling it has to do with proxy servers.

at home, mostly people dont use these... and almost all workplaces use some sort of proxy.

My auto login used to work fine until about 1-2 weeks ago, now i have to login every time. I don't have this problem on HCOR(same board software) and haven't changed any cookie settings.http://helmies.org.uk/Shrug.gif

future-edge.net Gutty, the publically acceptable face of farkin :) For people who have farkin.net blocked by net nanny type software at school/work.

for those using at work you might not have the save password box checked.... i dont know if this is just an XP thing but a dialouge box comes up and you have to save the password :?:

Yea I was going to suggest that, delete your cookies, a friend of mine told me to do that and now I can autologin every time :) I don't know if perhaps changing the seurity and privacy settings will help, but deleting the cookies should do it.

Go to Tools->Internet Options-> Delete cookies
